My dear friend David Scott Baker sadly passed away several months ago from cancer. He was a beautiful friend, and son to his loving mother Marcia Baker. He had so many talents from cooking the best darn down south bbq you could find. Pork belly, steaks, corn bread, chili...You name it David Scott Baker could make it the best you ever tried. His dream one day was to own a small restaurant named the "funky table" with great music incorporating jazz and delicious food with my famous potato pancakes. He also was a very celebrated writer. He is at the local libraries in Louisville, Kentucky and a master at wood craftsmanship. He created his manuscripts around his wood working, binding each and every book by hand and displaying them at the libraries and local book stores. He created a farm size table to frames that showcased the work and arts of others. He had an upbeat attitude about all and a great sense of humor.
